Red Light Camera Program ended in Suffolk County, New York

Hi there,

I’m sure the editors know this but FYI- In Suffolk County, New York, the Red Light Camera Program ended on December 1, 2024.

I’m just wondering if the Red Light Camera warnings can be eliminated rather than still getting them in all the places the cameras were but are no longer functioning?

Thanks. Yes, we are aware of it, and are working on converting them to dummy cameras. If you run across one at a specific location that’s not changed, feel free to make a report in the app at that location. Thanks!

I can start by giving you County Rd. 83 a/k/a North Ocean Ave. North from Rt. 25A and all the way South to Montauk Hwy.

In Shirley, NY the intersection of William Floyd Parway and Montauk Hwy and 2 intersections East of there at the entrance to Stop-N-Shop.
