Refining 407 ETR toll

I drive to and from work in Mississauga and take the 400. Waze has been pretty good at showing me the cost of taking the 407ETR, but I realize that it’s an estimation since it’s about a dollar off.
Waze has a disclaimer that it’s an estimation but I can’t help but wonder if this can be fine-tuned.

If I could select what car I am driving and that I have a transponder, couldn’t Waze use crowdsourcing to take the extra step to refine the final cost?

Hello and thank you for your feedback.
pricing mechanism for toll roads is varied by countries, states/provinces and cities.
It is too complicate for Waze to support them all, therefore Waze set pricing to be as close as possible to what it would cost the average user.
This feature may get some tweaks in the future to better reflect more accurate pricing, but the way it is set at the moment provides a stable and reasonable solution to most users.

Wondering if this has been revisited; I take the 407 from Mississauga, Dixie Road entrance to Yonge Street in Thornhill for work. Waze calculates it at around $18 per trip in rush-hour, but the actual price is closer to $39. It’s resulted in a pretty hefty and unexpected 407 bill :woman_facepalming:t2: is this something that can be updated?
