As part of my job I manage and maintain the digital channels of my company amongst these is obviously waze which i can only maintain in limited capacity.
I now have the following request to the community.
We’ve recently gone through a global name change of all our car dealerships and I would like to correct the names in waze, there’s 2 things I tried:
- Editing though my mobile app: this worked to push the change request for a few of them, however the app has now started refusing my edits in a “something went wrong” message so this option seems closed
- Editing throug the map editor: no luck here it seems I can only view and not edit location “this location is outside your editing area” is what shows on very location
In the wiki it says to use the chat but there’s never anyone online
Can any community member clarify what I can do to help you guys in cleaning this up? I don’t mind editing our locations; I would prefer it even, much like what I already do on Google business manager.
