Hi,

My apologies if I’m in the wrong place.

I’m after advice on how to report a user spamming a remote residential road of police sightings.

As a new user, I can only upload one media item, however my achievements show many reports from the same user.

Any help in the matter would be gratefully received.

Thanks for taking the time to post. The examples you give seem to be in two different places, when you refer to spamming, what sort of quantities are we talking about?

Hi,

It’s daily, on the working week. I travel along the road normally between the hours 5-6pm, and there will be multiple police ‘sightings’ on an 800m stretch of rural road. They are done to slow the traffic, but I have done the journey for two years and have never once seen any police there whatsoever.

Likely to become a more common occurrence, along with police officers &/or police officer supporters/chums/family selecting ‘not there’ on speed traps/cameras.

I guess the user’s own rating(believability) will ultimately suffer, however community reporting is open to this kind of abuse & it is abuse whether or not you agree with the intentions.

There needs to be a good counter-measure to this kind of dishonest activity like reporting-ban of their account & view of that type of hazzard unless they report same hazzard confirmed by other users in x time-span.
