Townsend Road will be closed between Fernside Road and South Belt from 5 January 2026, and will reopen under temporary traffic lights in early February. The road is expected to return to full two-lane operation by early March 2026.

I have made a change to the road so I can close it tomorrow afternoon once the change is live.
