I’d appreciate your assistance adding a current road closure in Austin. It’s been closed for a week already, but Waze is still directing routes through it
Location: Mount Carrell Dr near W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX
Closure dates: August 17, 2026 through September 4, 2026
Closure: Full road closure / all lanes
Reason: Austin Water utility work and roadway excavation.
The closure is listed in the City of Austin’s official Roadway Work Zones data:

The closure does not currently appear to be reflected in Waze routing.
