There is a local event going on in Northwich, Cheshire on the 12 of May.
I have had the event approved but am not high enough level to add the road closures to the area.
There are road signs up indicating that the roads are to be closed from 11:00 till 23:00 but some from 05:00.
I have all the details and am happy to put them on the map but will need the area unlocking to do so since some of the closures require up to level 4 access.
Hi Mike. I’m afraid that unlocking the roads won’t help you - only level 3+ users can create road closures.
I had to make a couple of changes to the event you created. Closures can only be added to an event if they fall within the event hours, so I extended those. I also changed the name to a somewhat more informative “Pro Tour Cycling”.
I’ve added in the closures as per the PDF you provided. The map at the end suggests that London Road is closed until 23:59, instead of 23:00 as the text implies. To be sure, I set the closure to end at the later time.
If you want to check what I’ve done and you’re happy with it, you can submit the event. :mrgreen:
Looks good to me, sorry i’m fairly new to Waze been using it about 6 - 7 months and only realized i could edit parts of the map that weren’t correct about a week ago.
The information that has been provided to residents is a bit vague at best with the closure times but since the PDF has been provided by the official event i would go with those.
Thank you for putting those closures in place and hopefully at some point in the future i will eventually get to level 3.
