There’s an ongoing construction project on the span of Hazeldean Rd between Irwin Gate and the Farm Boy Plaza. I am unable to add an event to the map, nor am I able to add it as a hazard, so I figure this is the best spot to post in.
The road is now down to 1 lane each direction, with the right lanes on both sides of the road closed.
Unless there are actual segment closures, there is no reason to report construction. Users may report construction crews’ presence as a hazard, as well as road closures. I don’t want to put long-term hazards on the roads, as I would imagine construction will move along the road as it progresses over the next months. There would be no real way for us to see which segments need a hazard. With all of the entrances to / exits from business lots, I don’t want to put a hazard on each segment between Castlefrank and Irwin Gate, as it may drive users nuts.
