The High Street is often one way between Northgate & Gundolph Sq everyday, except Saturday between 10am - 4pm when it is pedestrianised. That is how the segment has been edited, and generally works fine. However, and this is where I would like your opinions, on Saturday between 10-4 access is permitted from Gundolph Sq end of the street, effectively reversing the direction of the one way. Should we include this edit into the map?

What’s the purpose for the access southbound on a Saturday? I do see the signage, however, but just trying to get an idea of why this is there, so I can work out how best we can solve this. Is there a reason the traffic can’t enter from the southern end?
What I find really strange, is the hugely contradictory signage visible on street view. There are a number of blue rectangular one-way signs visible at the start and along High St. It strikes me as very strange that there are then signs saying it’s fine to disobey these one-way signs on a Saturday during the day, as you legally cannot drive down a one-way street the wrong way unless instructed to do so by a police officer in uniform, as per the Highway Code and road traffic law.
I will submit a FOI request to the local authority to seek further input on the contradictory road signage, as you’re breaking the law by driving the wrong way down a one-way street, regardless of there being a sign allowing you to so it! I wonder if they need to review the road signage along this road to make them a bit clearer!

Having looked at the signage a bit more, it looks like vehicle might be allowed to access the most northly bit of High St, up to the Guildhall Museum / Royal Victoria & Bull Hotel access bit, but this is still extremely poorly signed and laid out.
I’d be tempted, if you have editing rights in this area, to make this segment two-way, but with a restriction stopping southbound traffic at all times other than on a Saturday 1000-1600. If you can’t edit here, let me know and I’ll do it for you.
Thank you. Yes, I can edit that most northerly section. I think you’re right about it being just that access to the hotel on Saturdays, and yes, the signage is very confusing!
I have made that edit, but I could not allow the turn from the A2 as that’s locked to (4). Please can you add that for me? I also adjusted the restrictions from all day to 10:00 - 16:00 on the rest of the High Street.
