Routing and Re-Routing Timing Out

I thought I would start a post under the DC subforum first before posting for the larger population of Waze Forum followers…

For weeks, I’ve noticed that the “original” routing times out frequently. And when the “original” is successful looking for additional routing options almost always fails. Co-workers are experiencing the same thing. I thought it might be an server overload issue during morning and afternoon commuting times, but a few trips up and back from Maryland Public Television (outside of major commuting times) disproved that theory.

Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, have you already posted in a different part of the forum? If not, should I and if so where?

I’ve been getting a few more timeouts recently. But I’ve always been able to get a route within a few tries.

I apologize for taking so long to say more. Short story is that I wanted to see if anything changed while traveling around the US. The issues continued for me while traveling until 3.8.0 came. Now, currently, I have no issues as mentioned before.

Off topic: I’ve been following the 3.8.0 release feed. A lot of us are having issues with “share.” Such as we are forced to verify with via (I have texts completely off through the Verizon). And the supposed “more” option is not shown.

The 3.8.0.1 release did not fix these issues. Without going into even more detail, is there a way that I can send Waze a message directly?

Thank you. I followed the instructions and couldn’t find any additional help. You are supposedly able to attach screenshots to your question, but that feature isn’t working or has been removed.
