I live in the Exectuive Estates Apartment Complex in northern Seattle (14330 12th Ave NE). Waze maps seem to think you can enter the complex, by car, via 145th and 12th Ave NE. This is not the case. There is no entrance to the appartments there. There is, in fact, a fence along that entire end of the complex. The entrance that will lead to the building, through the complex, is at 143rd and 15th. This has caused significant grief and confusion with lyft drivers who use waze to navigate and needs to be updated. Thank you
It appears the problem might be the house number data coming from Lyft puts the point closer to 145th than where 12th Ave NE stops coming near the building.
I’ve added several parking lot roads here in an attempt to capture proper routing.
Please let me know if things are resolved once these changes reach the live map (in under a week).
Unfortunately, the ride sharing services’ driver apps (Uber, Lyft, etc) all pass raw latitude/longitude information to the Waze app and we have no control over those services’ erroneous point data. In this case, though, I’m hopeful we’ve got the fix.
