Saint roads TTS saying Street

Hi

I have noticed a few UR’s from a user (very active, reporting lots of mistakes which is good) which have said that roads such as ‘St Pauls St’ are being read as ‘Street Pauls Street’

I haven’t tested this before, but if true, I think all roads should be labelled 'Saint XXX ’

Yes, that should correct it.
I have turned TTS names off because of Maori names causing some crazy sounds.

You need to add a full stop after the the abbreviation for Saint, so it would be “St. Pauls St”, then you will get the correct TTS pronunciation.

If you have Mount in any of the street names you need to do the same, “Mt. Pauls St”.

Any other strange ones may need to be encased in apostrophes or else needs to be spelt out fully.

Also look out for some words that are TTS abbreviations that translate back to actual TTS prompts. So if you had a “Tun Huah Rd” it would become “Tunnel Huah Rd” when spoken back.
