I travel to the same destination often. I like a certain route to use. WAZE continually gives me different routes and gets confusing which one is my normally used route. I want to use the same route for this destination all the time.
I’m afraid this is not possible with Waze - it’s simply not how Waze is supposed to work.
Once given a destination, Waze will work out the best route to get there using historical data and current traffic conditions. This is a dynamic process and it’s the whole point of using Waze.
If there is an alternate route you prefer, then by all means leave Waze running but take that route. Your data will help to improve Waze’s “knowledge” of the traffic conditions and may increase the chances Waze will use that route if it’s good.
There is also a degree of background learning where Waze will tend to learn routes you frequently use. They will still only be offered as the default route if they are what Waze considers the “best” route; but if you use the Routes button in the app, it will often give your frequently-used route as an alternate, once it’s been learned.
