Saving error occured just only because of low rank editor?

I’ve tried to update one geometry place that is locked in level 3. It has note in it and it says: Changes you submit to this place are pending moderation. In my understanding, when I edit a thing, it is not the final result. It will be approved by the higher level editors in Waze. I’m editing some of details in it. And then after I save, the balloon appears:

An error occurred while saving
Suggestion Try again later[/h]

Which means, I can’t edit geometries or places with high levels. But how if the area has many updates and the higher level editors don’t know the major changes in there? I don’t create vandalism in Waze map editor ever since. Totally I have 2k edits and I want to update more places just to be updated. Please fix this problem, Actually I’ve encountered this last year because of high-level locked places. Thank you.

The best thing to do is get in touch with one of the higher level editors and work with them directly via Hangouts or other chat platform for them to downlock the items you’re trying to update and fix. This way, the map stays protected, and also you learn from working with the editors. I wish I could help you out more, but I don’t have EA there any longer.
