For me it is not disappearing but showing up in the places list which has been modified by PIE. Maybe a conflict between the two scripts?
Yep, I just noticed the same thing. Sounds like we found the problem. ![]()
I discussed this with MoM yesterday. He is looking up the Place icon for the placement of the Edit Count monitor. Sometimes it finds the one in the Place menu (modified by WME PIE) before the one on the toolbar, which is causing the issue.
MoM is looking into updating the script to hook the toolbar placement differently.
Best script I never knew I needed! ![]()
With the release of the new WME editor today, the edit counter is no longer clickable. My guess is due to the new refresh button that used to be in the layers menu. It had been like this in beta but with the sometimes radical changes there I ignore most small inconveniences till it gets to production.
Still working for me.
Hmm well darn… At home on Chrome it had stopped working in beta when the interface changed. I don’t click it all that often so its possible it may have been before the new layer GUI dropped but pretty sure it stopped when it was introduced. At work today with the interface update released to production its the same result using Firefox and it definitely worked yesterday on the old interface. I’ll try to see if it’s another script causing an interference, the one I thought of that places an icon generally in the same place I apparently don’t have loaded at work so it can’t be that one.
working for me too
Not clickable on FF for me too
Works for me in Chrome.
Thanks for the report. It’s not working for me in FF either. I’ll work on a fix.
Hi
Still no fix for FF ? ![]()
No, sorry. I haven’t had time to get to this yet.
By the way. GREAT script!!! Without this, I probably would have gotten frustrated with the throttle long ago and left before the addiction really set it. Thank you.

I had to do a mass lock of an area because of a editor. I was throttled for over 24 hrs lol
I believe the FF issue should now be fixed in v0.9.6. Please let me know if not.

Thanks for the input, we tried it, regards …
Doesn’t seem to be working with today’s WME update to version V2.0-455. ![]()
