Yes it is a chosen feature. I hesitated to do that.
Indeed, when editing a bookmark of another country, that’s a problem (list change after 5 seconds and if we change comments, bookmark’s country change too). I’ll fix that.

Interesting… I have only 27 bookmarks, most with no comments, in my production editor, but the script is broken somehow… the Add button is gone, and the Edit buttons on existing bookmarks don’t work. Everything works fine in the Beta editor. It’s been like this for probably a month or two…
WARNING about V0.51 installation if you use V0.25 :
Before install this script, you must make a backup of your bookmarks or they will be lost.
In fact, the storage format is different and the old format will be considered defective and will be deleted.

Sync bookmarks. Bookmarks are stored on a distant server and the script supports sync. If you edit in different places, you will find your updated list (can be disabled).
Items are supported (segments, POI, node).For this, a icon was added to the card (under the zoom bar).
Share your bookmarks. Share a link with one or more editors.

Backup : Like the previous version. Backups are compatible with V0.25

The backup is limited to a certain number of bookmarks (about 2000 characters). It’s being changed

You should not assume all users are regularly following this thread.
Normally the Script Managers upgrades the scripts automatically, and most people are looking for info regarding change details only after update of the script.
In my opinion, when a storage format changes it’s much better practice to provide automatic conversion of the old format into a new one, or at least protect old user data in a local storage providing manual export/import of it.
I think, the script changes went in the right direction, thanks! However, the loss of all my bookmarks (about 100) slightly overshadows a full joy of your work.
Pin is no longer on the map but in the black bar
Info : Known bug with Firefox, segments or places aren’t selected when the link contains. It’s in my ToDo list.
The script does not appear to work on beta WME. The pin icon appears for a moment then disappears. Similar problem on prod, the icon disappears but it’s still clickable. I have the option selected to not apply layers, but when I click on a bookmark the city layer is turned on, and roads and URs are turned off. I never have either of those set that way, so it shouldn’t be a caching/local storage issue.
