Is it possible with this add on to see invisible user who working invisible at WME…
The the invisible. .most of them do wrong things, like closing UR without asking, changing TR, uturns etc.
I’ve tried to PM them,but they all ignore the PM or through the chat at WME

No it is not possible. This script only can use data which is already available in WME, invisible users are not loaded at all in WME.

If you continue to have issues with the same editors, and they are not responding to chat, you should ask you Country Manager/Coordinator for help.

v1.3:

  • CM user names underlined (for colorblind)

  • custom messages and sounds when a user enter or leave the channel:
    see in settings the field “Usernames messages and sounds”.
    Format is a block of 5 informations separated by ‘:’

  • UserName (case sensitive)

  • Custom message on enter: can be “null” to disable and keep the original message

  • sound on enter: can be ‘null’ to disable, ‘door’ for a built-in sound (the only one for the moment), or begin with ‘TTS’ followed by the custom text to speach the text

  • Custom message on leave: same as enter

  • Sound on leave: same as enter
    Then, separate with a ‘,’ and set another block, and so on.
    E.g.: dummyd2:D2 is here:TTSD2 is here:D2 has left:door,BellHouse:BellHouse the famous TB dev has joined:null:BellHouse has left:null
    You can replace a block by a google spreadsheet key.
    Here is a sample spreadsheet. You can edit it, and fork it for your own purpose:

    Lines beginning with ‘UserName’ are ignored to keep an understandable header.

You can add keys as much as you want.
You can share your google spreadsheets with anyone you want.
You are responsible of what is written in your sheets.
If a username is defined twice or more, messages and sounds are concatenated.
Any change in this field is taken into account at WME startup.

Lost chat TTS with latest update. Thought it was just home computer, but lost it at work too.

Google has detected that TTS is used from outside, so they ask for a captcha :cry: :cry: :cry:
So no TTS anymore…

Great update. I was wondering about the following:

Is their anyway we can get some sort of text formatting? For example say I enter the room can the custom message be defined to display in Red or White (text) on Red(backgorund) or Bold?

I don’t know if this is pertinent or not (or if it even helps), but at a Google TTS script that I found at https://github.com/hiddentao/google-tts says that it only will work if you can prevent the browser from sending the Referrer HTTP Header to their site. I’m mentioning this because of the comment I saw here about them detecting it “from outside”, which might be what was meant there. There are already scripts available that for privacy reasons allow you to not send a Referrer as you browse. If that’s what’s happening here, maybe something like that could be adopted for this script to block that header?

Like I said, I don’t know if this even helps or not, but I figured it was worth mentioning, just in case…

I wonder if the folks at Waze headquarters could let you use one of the ‘voices’ that the client uses?

I highly doubt it, it would put a strain on their servers, with a significant increase in usage. Their system is also proprietary, and I doubt they would give out the resources.

You are registered as CM in chat add-on and I can see you in red.
Yes, there is a hungarian female voice but sounds very male…
You can test it on the responsive voice web site.

Thanks, now the CM highlighting is working.
The hungarian TTS voice sounds like a robot 20 years before. :wink:

TTS is back thanks to responsivevoice.
As I said before, they allow me to use a non comercial license.

You have to select your language and reload WME.

And a bugfix for the selection of a landmark in a permalink.
