[Script] WME Toolbox

Thanks for keeping this critical tool up-to-date.

Noted that the “1” shortcut does not clear geometry now. Was that an intended change? Was always good to avoid that extra mouse move to the toolbar and click.

Confirmed. I’m seeing the same issue in Chrome.

Looks like that, as a default was just turned off. We added it back in the shortcuts editor. So disregard query above. But the thanks does hold, LOL.

Possible to move the measurement tool box so it does not block the zoom bar for those of us that actually like the new location?

I still get the JNF error (I do not have the JNF extension installed) and was wondering what the solution is. Interference from another script, or an issue within TB itself?

If you PM me the complete list of scripts you are using, I can check what I can do to ease their coexistence.

No, that change slipped through our extensive quality checks. :sunglasses: The handling of loading saved shortcuts was updated quite substantially, and this issue is an unwanted side-effect, which will be fixed.

I recently tried to download this on FF 45 ESR, and Toolbox could not be installed because it is not verified. Could verification be the reason for the failure of the previous version too?

I’ve the same problem on Firefox 51 EME-free 64bits. I tried to set false on the xpinstall.signatures.required line in about:config, but nothing change :frowning:

If someone knows the solution…

All of our published .xpis are verified by Firefox, otherwise they would not work on the non-ESR releases, either (which they do).

Same problem with the verification issue. I try to update via that url : http://gitlab.com/doctorkb/wme-toolbox-public/raw/master/Dist/Firefox/wmetoolbox.xpi

Firefox release : 51.0.1

My appologies, you are right, I accidentally published an unsigned version (again…). If you try again now you should get the signed one.

Yes it is working now

I use WME KeepMyLayers, so all permalinks that I use don’t include the “layers” part. I’ve noticed that if I do some editing, save my work, and then reload the same page, I often loose selection of the layers “Residential” and “Parking lots”. After some investigation I’ve found that it only happens when WME Toolbox is enabled.

The problem only happens in WME beta and never in production. It doesn’t happen if disable all scripts besides the WME Toolbox and then load a permalink with the “layers” part, but without the “layers” part it reproduced intermittently.

The toolbox doesn’t load after I updated it. I’m using Firefox 42.0

I recently ran into a situation where a user requested a Gas Station be removed from the map because the place had closed. However I could find no such place as described by the reporter. Upon going to LiveMap, the gas station in fact was in the live map. The easy explanation is another editor deleted the AP and we had not had a tile update since. It would be nice if ToolBox had an option to turn on “recently deleted places” so I could see if it was removed since the last tile update and who the editor was that removed it. Similar to how you can go backwards in time for roads, it would be great to be able to do it with places.

Can’t you use Snapshot ?

By the way no longer able to select a segment and Hit “1” to clear the geometry.

AFAIK snapshot mode is available for rank 4+ only (and sikemever is rank 3).

That said, all scripts can only work with the data that WME supplies it. So if you don’t have access to snapshot mode, there’s no way for Toolbox to get that data for you.

Maybe you’ve lost the key binding? What does your keyboard shortcuts entry “Clear road geometry” (in “Toolbox” section) say?
