Moving the toolbars still works for me but it is very finicky. Both toolbars must be moved slowly and in a somewhat perpendicular direction to the bars with a slow motion up/down or left/right to get them where I want them. Move too fast and nothing happens.
Are you sure youâre using the latest Toolbox release 1.8.7? Moving the cursor fast when dragging Toolboxâ controls shouldnât be an issue any more in this release.
Definitely v1.8.7. I use FireFox at work (not by choice) and Chrome at home. Iâll double check on Chrome when I get a chance hopefully later today since I havenât had to move the bars recently, but I believe its a similar experience on Chrome.
Thereâs an unusual situation where Toolbox will remove a junction as un-needed when it isnât. The junction is here.
The junction exists purely to âholdâ a Turn Instruction Override. In this case, there is a long lane dedicated to the exit. You need to be in that lane a long way in advance, because by the time Waze says âexit leftâ, itâs full of crawling traffic whilst 2 lanes speed past and you canât get into it. So we have a split where the dedicated lane starts that says âkeep leftâ. Then, when you actually leave the motorway, you get an âexit leftâ instruction.
So I think that a junction with a TIO should not be considered as un-needed.
Apologize for delay I have been out of town for the past week. Testing with Chrome I can move the bars around non-perpendicularly and can move fairly quickly with expected results. The bars do jump some while moving, but are much more configurable in placement as compared to Firefox.
Firefox movement must be done slowly and perpendicularly in order to get them to move and are very difficult to get them aligned where you want them. If you move too fast they donât move. This was tested on the newest Firefox release.
Dragging the controls is definitely still an issue - I see it in Chrome and FF.
Bellhouse - I had to change my scripts that include draggable divs to attach to the â#WazeMapâ div instead of â#mapâ div. That fixed the dragging problems in BeenThere, RA Util, etc. I changed the parent for the dashboard in the console to #WazeMap and it was able to drag correctly again. I would suggest trying this.
Since Tuesday when Waze updated WME I am having some issues all the time - slowly loading everything, lagging etc. I tried to disable all scripts and so far it seems the issues come from WME Toolbox. I am running on Firefox, version 1.8.7. Does anyone have the same issues?
