Thanks for this script, btw, I use it daily and it’s helped get our standing URs down to a fraction of what they were across the state.
I’m currently running 2.9.1 and seeing errors when downloading the latest URs. I’ve attached a screenshot.
It will begin downloading then say “Error: can’t download data from waze server. Retry in…” then begin continue making progress, error, repeat. Once it bounced back and forth between 96 and 97 % for awhile.
This doesn’t directly affect the usage of the script because it will eventually download the list but it can take awhile.
Request:
Would like an additional total (or at least an option to segregate some URs totals)
Currently we do not have a notes option in the editor so as a community it has been agreed to identified URs with special coding.
Is it possible to have the count for the group or even better for each specially tagged URs?
Hi all!!
I am experiencing the following error !!
After placing a comment on a UR’s,
The script is updated, but it still shows that there are no comments there!
Has anyone experienced the same situation?
Here another example with a “wrong intersection”

Where you’ve asked URMPT to select a UR of one type, but WME has opened up a UR of a different type, it’s almost certainly down to the “URs at the same co-ordinates” problem I mentioned here which I had to workaround in URO+ too.
Note that this problem is only caused if there are at least 2 URs at the same co-ordinates, it doesn’t matter what type they are - having them different types just makes it easier to realise that WME hasn’t selected the UR you thought you were selecting…
It’s not necessarily the same as what you had, but I only had issues with this script giving me incoherent data twice. Both times clearing the entire list and doing a brand new scan from an empty list solved everything.
So now that I understand that in a crowed feild of URs the script might open the wrong one by accident I get that this might have caused my issue…
I had it happen last night where I picked a UR off the list, sent a comment and then later down the list I pressed a new UR and I opened the one I completed before…
I might be adding to the issue because I have the updating turned off because of the added lag…
The examples cited above, are not located in the same geographic coordinates, or were reported on the same date. I hope this information is helpful to find and fix the error. Cheers
I can’t answer for d2 about why it wasn’t implemented before. But as you’re a WME beta tester maybe you’ve seen why there would be less reason for him to spend time developping PURs support now.
I disagree, that feature is really only useful for AM and basic drivers, as a CM, that feature doesn’t really work all that well as it pick up PUR’s from huge areas around me. (At this point anyway)
And TBH, (granted it’s still in beta) but it does a pretty bad job of picking up anything over distance.
This awesome script does a great job of pulling data from a boundary area and giving good stats about it all.
PUR tracking would be fantastic, But i can fully understand why a dev wouldn’t want to take that on considering waze has still been messing with them and their implementation.
I have noticed a problem related to the filtering Ur’s.
While the filter option to hide UR’s that are outside my area of editing, scanning returns results me !! outside that area is selected.
As of Firefox version 44 (currently in beta) it is not allowed to assign a value to unsafeWindow (as it is an undefined constant for some reason). I’m currently checking some of the scripts in the forum to make sure they won’t break once Firefox 44 goes live (January 26). I’ve checked your userscript and it uses unsafeWindow, so you may run into problems. Either way, the code below won’t do anything useful any more as this way of retrieving the unsafeWindow has been removed. I’ve seen other scripts just using unsafeWindow without that check and they seem to run fine.
I have several UR’s that are in my list but when I click on them it goes to the area but nothing is there? http://prntscr.com/9l0k6x Here is a screen shot.
