The UR will be marked as visited
sortable not

Yeah… now URs don’t open on clicking them in list… can this be fixed? Thanks

First i want to say Thank You, your Script has helped me handle over 100 URs a night with ease.

I say that because no that its not working Ahhhhhhhh!!! :x

I know that by now, you already must be working on it.

So this is more of a Encouragement Post.

Brooklyn NY USA needs you. Thanks John (jdelosa)

Thanks … so far so good

I am putting it to the test tonight.

only issue i have seen so far i’m not sure is yours, i use to be able when i closed the ur to pop back to your tab, that is not working now it might be a URO+ issue so i’m sending rick a message also.

I need all you Guys to play nice in the sand box.

if i see any others issues i’ll post back… Thanks Again John

UpDate…

so last night i worked with the UR-MP Tracker and the UR Comments script and i have no idea what happened but now none of my comments I added last night from the URComments script are being picked up and added to the comment count.

Please let me know if you need any additional info from me Thanks John

Seems to work with clicking now. Thanks.

So things are starting to get back to normal… One thing somehow the spreadsheet that the URs are listed on seams to be growing larger than the tab causing me to have to scroll right to press the PL link to the UR .
Is there some way to fix the with so that no longer happens? Thanks John D Brooklyn NY USA

I’d like to join the hordes asking for places and place updates. The level of zoom required to find place points in even a modest sized town makes finding them all nearly impossible.

Awesome script btw. Just started with it today and it has immediately proven its worth.

so i found my problem… it was Chinese…i had two URs with Chinese letters once i dealt with them all was ok…FYI

Could we get another stat for editor comments:

Can u add a filter. To filter out Mm or a other fixed distants. Because I edit in 2 country’s And it should be nice that I could filter out Ur’s more than Mm from were i am editing.

I’m not sure what is going on. UR-MP tracking is intermittently taking me to places where no UR appears to be.

I have even built a permalink to one such location, disabled ALL WME extensions and refreshed, and still no UR shows up.

My guess is that a UR was once located there but was closed and has been removed from the map but is still showing up in the searches even after I clear all and do a scan editable area.

Is anyone else seeing this problem? I haven’t tried rebooting, yet. win7ent with all updates and chrome with all updates.

EDIT: I think that some of the ones I am not seeing when I click on them would have been hidden from the list IF I had checked the ā€˜Hide without comments from me’ OR should be hidden from the list because I visited them already and have the ā€˜Hide visited’ checked but they continue to show in the list.

Hi bz2012,

I use the script everyday, I have found some odd centering problems with my URs, and on the face a similar problem where I get sent to a UR location but no UR showed up.
I am able to fix this when it happens by zooming in a bit and then toggling between show closed and hide closed URs.
The hidden URs then show them self’s and I can re-press the UR and open it.
From you description that might not be the problem.
One other think I do personally, I clear my past scan and start with a new one every day. This prevents me from picking up URs I might have closed outside of UR-MP in a past session.
Hope some of that was useful.
Thanks John, JD Brooklyn, NY USA

FYI, UR centering has been an issue with the current release of production. Especially when clicking the icon to zoom in and center over the UR. Waze decided to change this by centering over the entire area of the UR (UR and routes).

The script could be having issues due to that.

Shameful confession time… I’ve only just started using this script in anger, having installed it ages ago (I think to test some potential compatibility issues with URO+) and then disabling it again. But with the increasing numbers of URs in my part of the world, I figured I’d give it another try to see how much use it could be now.

Let’s just say that I’m unlikely to be disabling it again in such a hurry

So firstly a belated thanks for a superb addition to our editing toolboxes. And secondly, a couple of feature requests.

  1. Could we have the ability to restrict URMPT to scanning just a subset of our driven/managed areas?

  2. Please can you make the highlight colours for ā€œI followā€ and ā€œNever visitedā€ easier to tell apart for those of us with poor colour vision - the subtle red shading on the latter is completely lost on me, and it’s only the marginally different blue content that allows me to tell them apart at all…

I’m not quite sure what you mean, but you can define your own custom scan areas already…

I mean being able to quickly pick and choose which of the areas in your driven/managed areas list are used in an ā€œeditable areaā€ scan, rather than having it go off and slurp up data for every area on the list even though you might not have any interest in editing one or more of those areas today.

Also just noticed that URMPT has the same problem dealing with ā€œidentical-coordinateā€ URs as I had in URO+ (and discussed in this part of the URO+ thread) such that when you click the crosshairs in the UR list, it’ll recentre the map at the correct spot, but the UR that gets selected won’t always be the one related to those crosshairs, as WME now always selects whichever UR is related to the marker at the top of the stack even if you’ve asked it to select one of the ones further down the stack…

Note: as the PL referenced in the URO+ thread no longer contains an example of such a UR stack, I’ve recreated one in my test area here - on my setup, WME will natively always try to open the missing road UR with the ā€œIC2ā€ description even if you ask it to open the incorrect address one with the ā€œIC1ā€ description instead, and clicking on the URMPT crosshair for the latter will also cause the former one to be selected.

The Stats page has the from/to wider than everything else.

Could it be possible to rearrange it so it’s on top of each other?

Something like this
