[Script] WME Validator v2025.02.26 (+ PLACES BETA)

No, that button only deactivates Toolbox highlights, like for elevation, lock level, and soft turns. It does not disable any of Toolbox’s other features. What you’re seeing is a corrupted version of the Toolbox segment list.

OMG! I made a mistake. It is a toolbox!

Sorry for the mistake!

When I update and save any segment, the custom ${elevation} /[^0]/ alarm, until I click in segment again, or refresh all. Tested in green custom.

I was getting that on the previous WME from time to time as well.

Feature Request:
Flag/Highlight any Freeway Road Segment that has a turn restriction on it. Generally speaking, it is extremely RARE a Freeway segment should ever have a turn restriction on it.

If there is chance… it should not be highlighted. What if someone enables nonexistent turn?

Most roads in the US are locked to Rank 3 or Higher, I would hope at this rank, they would know to check why a turn might be restricted

Depends on what part of the world you are…

Thanks for fixing the issues quickly!

Sir berestovskyy, might want to keep an eye on this thread:

If attaching railroads to roads becomes accepted, then that check should probably be disabled.

Feature Request:
Flag/Highlight/compile a list of all parking lot landmarks (Places). Since many new editors go on a parking lot landmark adding spree not knowing about our guidelines for adding parking lots to the map, it would be nice to see an entire list of all of them in the area to validate valid or unnecessary parking lots.

Check out WME Data Store for an exportable Place list in the short term: https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=111169#p911491

I’ll likely be working with doctorkb and the Toolbox team to bring something similar to “Select Segments” to Toolbox “soon”, but for Places.

I’ve always scanned large areas, so never ran into this. Could some indication of a clean report be added. I’m thinking maybe change the grayed out ‘Show Report’ to ‘Nothing to Report’. A report with a Summary of Zero Findings would work too, but that seems a bit overkill.

Why?

Doesn’t sound like it’s settled yet though.

Ahora me sale “Please report WME Validator CODE BLUE: -30472” :frowning: y no se carga el script

English please?

Oops I thought I was in the Spanish section, sorry about that. I get the above mentioned error, the Validator does not load.

Update & additional information: I am using Firefox Version 32.0.3 and I restarted the browser, but the problem persists:
