Steps to reproduce this issue:
Previously searching in WME would allow you to locate intersecting streets.
ie
104 Ave at 245B St Maple Ridge BC
72 Ave and 188 St Surrey BC
Searching for intersecting streets no longer returns any results.
This search method is used frequently to locate the correct area of the map.

Could you please share how this search used to work previously? I would appreciate it if you could share the steps and how the string used to be entered to the search.
Also, could you please share if the search pointed to the point where the roads crossed? Any other additional details would be very helpful.

Previously when searching for intersecting roads you would be provided with the road intersection as a clickable option.
I don’t have any images on what that looked like previously in WME, but it worked the same as it currently does in the app to locate a road intersection.

It’s only anecdotal but the lose of intersection search seems to coincide with changes to the search that started showing orange icons, which leads me to believe that changes were made to WME search. I couldn’t find any mention of search changes, however, in the release notes.
I will mention that the loss of this search ability is quite impactful for editors who add road closures. I am now needing to search for intersections in GMaps to get the lat/long so I can locate the correct area of the map in WME.

I appreciate you sharing a detailed explanation of how the search used to work, along with the screenshots for clarity.
I was able to reproduce the problem on my end too and I created an internal case for the team to look into the issue.
At this time I can’t confirm if the issue is related in any way to the orange pin near the result but I have passed your observation to the team too.

For a more Waze specific example of this search working previously via computer vs app. Live map searching still works with intersection searches.
