I am suggesting 3 changes:
-
A short segment needs to be added between Crookton Rd and Ranch Rd in Yavapai County. The location is at:
35.292822314596656, -112.73447245633216
This is an unpaved 2-way road but open to the public. It is the road commonly used by people traveling onto Ranch Road from the south.
-
Directions provided in the app to and from Crookton Rd to 12080 9 Shooter Ter, Ash Fork, AZ should use the added segment described above, and take Ranch Rd all the way to 9 Shooter Ter. No other routes are accessible without going off-road. In addition, other routes would be much longer in time and distance.
-
9 Shooter Ter actually ends at:
35.45458061374536, -112.67594691154444
The “road” shown to the east of that location is private property, specifically part of the 40 acres of the address identified as 12080 9 Shooter Ter. The road going east ending in a loop is a private driveway and not part of road. The Coconino County Pacel Map will identify this at this URL:

Thanks!

I’ve made some changes to the map that will require an update to test out before I can confirm things are working as expected. I’ll report back here in a few days to update you.

I’ve made several changes in the area which are now live in the app. This area is pretty remote, and Waze only had what we call “base map” that was originally imported back in 2009. Base map includes mostly unnamed roads, and the directionality of the roads isn’t even confirmed. I’ve done a lot of work to clean all this up in the area. I tried routing to the address you provided and can confirm it routes via the new short segment you requested in item 1. It routes all the way to the address via Ranch Rd as requested in item 2. In item 3, I converted the road at the edge of your property to your house to a private road type. Although this isn’t super important since the only way Waze will route down it is if someone manually drops a pin to route to at the end of it.
Please note that if you have your address saved as a home or saved location, you’ll need to remove it and search for it new. When you search, don’t select the address in your search results that has a clock to the left of it (this indicates you’ve routed to it before) as Waze might continue to route to the old incorrect result.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

WOW, I’m impressed! Although I haven’t driven the route in the app yet, it sure looks like you corrected everything I suggested/requested. I reviewed the map in the app and it sure looks good. I should be heading that way in a day or two and will let you know how it goes. I certainly appreciate your efforts and your timeliness.
Great job, sir!
Thanks,
Mike
