I’m socked at the low numbers of AM’s

i dont think there are that many active waze users in NZ either. certainly in Waikato. Sometimes see one or two pop up on map when i venture into Auckland

I have access to a spreadsheet, I suspect that its live and current?

I guess thats why I feel like I’m mapping all by myself sometimes

I’ve tried doing some edits when I spot a problem but there don’t seem to be that many problems on the roads I drive. Although I’m only a level 1, if I can help in anyway I’d be happy to, as I do a 120km daily commute between NW Auckland and Manukau, so it is easy for me to detour and check out a problem.

I’m pretty sure I was an area manager. I should still have AM rights to the whole of the north island :frowning:

Not many edits to do these days, from what I see.

I wonder if they have purged users that haven’t edited in a while?

I guess I’ve been culled. Oh well, would have been nice if they’d notified me. I’ve only done 31,000 edits…

Wow - that’s quite some time invested in Waze.

re-applying is no big deal

There is a truck load of work still to be done, if you are looking for work I can point you in the right direction

I lost my South Island AM privilege, I requested it back, and had it for a few weeks, then it disappeared again.

Not so much retired as took a break from editing. :slight_smile:
Getting back to doing more again though I don’t expect to get back to the extent that I was editing over a year ago now.

A number of years ago (like 4?), I had been allocated a large area around me - might have even been the lower half of the South Island??? I stopped using Waze until recently, and had to start again at Level 1

Just looked at my forum join date. Was SIX years ago. No wonder I lost my significance!

If you are an Area Mgr & don’t edit in the area for more than 90 days, you might get that right removed,
but you shouldn’t lose your points.
Is there any chance you used the wrong login name?

There were big changes just over 4 years ago regarding points & levels.
You can always re-apply for the area too.
