Hi,

actually I am not slovenian. But Iam traveling time to time from Budapest to Ljubljana and was thinking that I would be happy to help a bit to build the roads. Of course I can only do the A1 - A5 highway from the border to Ljubljana and some small parts of the city where I usually go.

First of all I wanted to discuss the highway as I realized that from the border to Maribor and to Ljubljana there are different methods. Sometimes one single road sometimes 2 parallel ones. Sometimes Freeway, sometimes Major Highway, sometimes only Minor Highway.

Is there any agreed structure or just you are doing it as is comes?

Hi, I’m new to waze and doing some munching in Maribor and around.

Now, they are more as it comes. I think, that with more wazers it would be easier to decide.

I would suggest:

A1, A5 = Freeway. Those are actually called avtocesta and they are “vignete” roads …
Major Higway for Intercity main roads and multi lane in cities
Minor Higway for other Intercity roads.

Primary Street for high volume trafic in the cities
Street for all other …

Nor am I so English is the only language I can offer (well, of course German would be easier for me but English is more common ;-)…).

I support this and actually I had already marked parts traveled by me this way.

OK, so I’ll try to fix the A1-A5 from the hungarian border to Ljubljana as Freeway first :slight_smile:

And it’s good that the Slovenian topic is coming alive as well :wink:

I agree, I started marking roads in and around Ljubljana this way…

I updated the highway from the austrian border till Bled/Radovljica
Also some B roads from Kranjska Gora till Jesenice.

Could someone update the Friškovec street in Ljubljana? It is a one-way street from east to west.

Friškovec street fixed.

V Kopru je napačno označena Veluščkova ulica oz. Tomšičeva.
Na krožišču je Tomšičeva prekinjena in postane Veluščkova, kar ne drži- Tomšičeva je do Ceste na Markovec (ves čas ob Badaševici).

Matjazz, hvala. Dejansko, cesta je delno napačno ime. Sem popravil napako. Vidno v nekaj dneh.

V Ljubljani je Hradeckega cesta zaprta zaradi obnove. Zaprta je do 4.2.2018. (Lahko preveriš na promet.si).

Hi there Guys,
I saw that the map editor level request thread was kind of dead and was wondering if it would be possible to upgrade me to level 4, since some roads in Novo mesto have wrong speed limits and are locked for level 4.

Hi,

To be promoted to level 2 is automatic when you have over 1000 edits.

you’ll have an automatic level 3 when reaching 25000 edits
