Hi there I live near toowoomba and yesterday the speed camera icon has gone from my screen,I have reinstalled Waze and gone through all the settings,can find nothing wrong,But i do have a new icon that says Map issue so is this a Waze fix thats coming.Thank you.

hi there i still see reports of cameras,the icon on my screen has disappeared,i cant report cameras,but now i have an icon that says map issue,any ideas?thanks.
A couple of things:
- I really need a location to check what is happening. It is possible the speed or red light camera has been removed from the map.
- Map issue has always been there
It’s how you let us know from the app something needs fixing. Cameras cannot be reported directly but can be using the General map error report - Some screenshots would really help if you are able to.

I’ve been doing some more digging and there is an issue that occurs where camera icons will not show on the map. This could be what you are experiencing.
Now we just need to narrow down the problem to get you the right answer 
It is the report speed camera button on my screen that has gone 3 days ago and that is also when the map issue button appeared,in my settings the report camera button is switched on but its not there.
Okay. The report camera button has not been there for some time. There are now two ways to report a camera.
If it is a permanent/semi-permanent camera, please select “Map Issue” then “General map error” with as much information as you can add. We can then add the camera for you.
If it is a mobile speed camera (van/handheld radar/etc.) use the police report type.
