Speed Limit Update: Kenmare to Killarney (N71)

Can the speed limits on the following segments be updated to 80kph please? I traveled it recently and it was 80kph. If you check SV you will see 100kph so they have been changed in the last year or so.

Incidentally, did you know that you can select multiple segments at once and make a single permalink for all of them? See the permalink in my previous paragraph. I think there’s a limit as to how many (I tried making a permalink with all of the segments you originally posted selected at once, but it only made a permalink with about eight segments included).

BTW, I’m trusting you here that all the limits you mentioned really are 80km/h. I guess showing a limit that’s too low is better than showing one that’s too high :slight_smile:

No they should be 80kph - sorry not sure how I missed those (probably not zoomed in far enough now that I think of it).

On the day I only noted the 80kph limit as far as Hegarty’s which then reduced to 60kph. After checking WME I can see that the segments from Hegarty’s up until the the south end of the bridge are wrong also. Yes they actually increased speeds in some locations as part of the review! I have added comments onto the map on those permalinks at Hegarty’s and the bridge indicating speed in each direction. SV on the Killarney end is from Oct 2019 and showing the correct speed signs.

Yes - however I didn’t think it was working correctly for me. When I click on your link I see all segments highlighted, when I use one I created for the segments I was discussing above, only 3 of the 10 segments get highlighted. Maybe that’s expected, I am not sure.

eh no pressure so! No I am happy with what I have said. The suggestions are from recent memory where I was there, and I cross checked them with the speed bye law maps on the Kerry Co Co website as well as SV.

Cool - I’ve changed those ones too, and I took the liberty of removing your map comments. Would you mind checking these ones too?

Not sure now; I have a feeling there’s a maximum number of segments you can include in a single permalink - and it might be related to the zoom level too.

That’s what I was thinking myself, will play around and figure out the limits.
