Speedlimits in Lux

Hello,

my name is Pierre, and as I have to drive ± 30000 km only on Luxembourg streets per year, I wanted to start editing the speed limits on the map. I was OSM-Editor for many years, but unfortunately Waze doesn’t use OSM. :!:

As a new Waze-User, I would like to add accurate Speedlimits on many Streets:

Pétange, Bascharage, Fentange, Hellange, Gonderange, Junglinster, Echternach, around Mersch, N11, A7, A1, A6, A13 and many others.

Problem is that most of them are at least Level 2, so I’m unable to edit. Is there any possibility to unlock these streets? It would take me ± 2 weeks to have accurate speedlimits added.

yes there is… Post the permalinks of the area/segments you want unlocked, and we can take care… Or, get in touch with one of the experienced editors to see if you have the needed knowledge insights to be promoted to level 2 editor :wink:

Did you already find your way to the Slack platform we use for interaction and coaching?

It would take me a lot of time to post post every permalink of an area / segment. So how can I contact one of the experenced editors here?

Why would it take a lot of time? You can multiselect segments and provide one permalink, if you want it to do on segment base… Most easy way is just from the area…
Unlocking is just a few clicks, inputting the speed data is quite more intense… :slight_smile:

Was your permalink correct? Because i can only see level 1 segments in that area…

Done, Bascharage N5 has now speedlimits, Gonderange has now speedlimits, same for Limpertsberg, and around “Rue des Aubépines” in Lux/City.

L4 and L3 to L2 in this area? Inaccurate streets in this area.
