Hi, anyone else having a problem getting the speedometer to show on in car display, it used to be fine until recently, waze official support are telling me it’s an issue with the car, but nothing has changed with the car software to cause this, also the icon for the vehicle keep “twitching” which never used to happen, all input appreciated
Yes, the speedo disappeared for me on Android Auto for a couple of weeks. I think its back now, though not sure…I don’t tend to look at the Waze speedo much.
Mine disappeared a couple of weeks ago and I didn’t know why. I have a 2018 ST-Line Fiesta.
No it isn’t the car. Reputedly it’s the way Waze interacts with the GPS via Sync3. It can sometimes produce speed indications that are way wrong.
Having said that, it never did in mine and they have just turned it off.
Randomly, on one journey last week, it turned back on again.
I don’t know why they don’t just leave it to the users. It will be obvious if it is wrong and you can just turn it off.

Speedo gone and GPS is going nuts. It thinks I am driving backwards down the road, thinks I turn at every intersection even though I go straight, pauses then skips ahead and thinks I am moving when I am not.
Google maps GPS works perfectly.
So is it a WAZE / GPS issue?
