Permalink. I’ve driven this a few times, and I am tending to agree with the user report here: exiting southbound I-5 onto SR-16, and staying on SR-16 towards Bremerton, Waze shouldn’t be telling me to stay to the left. At this point, two lanes stay left, and Exit 1A to Sprague Ave flies up a single lane to the right. There should be no instruction here.
This brought up another question, though: Exit 132B from I-5 no longer feels like a ramp after SR-16’s Exit 1A. Should this permalinked section be changed to Freeway? Is there an issue with two parallel SR-16 W freeway sections? If not, why would on hold Freeway classification and the other wouldn’t?
(Even though I’m an area manager for Tacoma and rank 3, it’s locked at rank 5, so I can’t tweak it.)
