Hello,
I opened a map issue for the changes to Rawlin’s Cross. The Waze map still shows the segment of Military Road as available, and still routes traffic through it. But the City of St. John’s has barricaded that section of the street.
I asked the city about the intersection (in the context of updating maps), and this is their official response:
What would be the appropriate procedure to update this section of the map, given that it’s still in a pilot phase? Should the segment of the road be flagged as closed, should the paved road be removed (and re-added later, if the pilot reverts the change), should the type of road be changed to something else, etc.?
I’m currently a Level 2 editor. I’ll need to submit a request to unlock that area so I can update it personally, but first I need to know how it should be updated.
