Street Address Directions directing to Back Street

When getting directions to or form an address that backs onto another road (the address doesn’t have and access to this other road) Waze will direct a user to the other road, even though that’s not the street name used in the address. I tried adding a street number right next to the street of the address but it didn’t work. I’m not sure how to fix it and it seems more like a bug with the Waze programming.

I see an address pin for 178. Was that just added recently? If it was, give it a few days to appear in the map. If not, have you instructed the UR reporter to delete the address from their home, favorites, and history and search for it again? Waze stores locations in the app, so it needs to be deleted and searched again to use the new location, otherwise the user will keep getting wrong directions.

If this don’t resolve the issue, I would suggest asking a local editor to help you in the Ontario forum.

I added the pin for 178 a few days ago and tested trying to get directions too and from that address with no luck.
I will ask in the Ontario forum however.

I see the NA tiles have not updated in several days, so that may be the issue. It looks like you’ve got the HN pin in the correct spot, so wait for the tile update and then see if the issue is resolved.
