My sister has lived on this street for 26 some years and, for some reason or another, recently it changed from 3rd Place SW to 3rd Avenue SW. Not entirely sure why. As i’m just a level 1 editor, I can’t even submit the edit to the street name, but it should be 3rd Pl SW (3rd Place SW) from SW 293rd St to SW 295th Pl. I tried from the app but feedback is not the best so I tried to do it via the map editor and no go.

Northern segment, SW 294th St to SW 293rd St, has not been edited since 2016. Edit made in 2016 was chaning geometry.
Southern segment has not been edited since 2014. If name was changed it was before these dates. Did you encounter this problem when Waze gave you a turn instruction, like “Turn right onto 3rd Ave SW”. Or was this a problem with the results in address search?
I have made some changes in the area, based on street signs and GIS (Geographic Information System) provided by the state and city. Changes:
Northern segment was split. N/S segment is named 3rd Ave SW (alt name 3rd Pl SW added). E/W segment is named SW 294th Pl.
Southern segment is named 3rd Pl SW (alt name 3rd St SW added).
I have also added all the House Numbers that where missing.
Also changed all Streets in this area to Private Road.
After about 24-48 hours once you can see street names change. Please remove any instance of the old address in the app and re search for your sisters address.

P.S. There is a current problem preventing all Lvl 1 editors from makeing edits. Waze Staff has been working on a fix.
Cheers Nhanway. The issue was originally noticed in GMaps, but I checked Waze and found the same issue. My family has had issues with delivery drivers the last few months and they just don’t know how to submit fixes to mapping apps, so here I am. I am unsure how recently the issue happened on GMaps but it is within the past year as I haven’t had issues recently using nav services. Thanks for your help, I’ll check back in a few days.
I’m not 100% sure how the N/S and E/W segment changes from 3rd place to 294th place, but I think you know better in that regard. I do know that it shows correctly on Apple Maps (Which I don’t trust whatsoever, but in this case it looks correct)
