String "Add language" in Events (Portuguese)

In Events when adding Portuguese language it is not possible to distinguish between Portuguese (Brazil) and Portuguese (Portugal).

Although it is possible to reproduce in all environments, this issue directly affects editors in Brazil and Portugal.

@Nataliia_Staff, do we have any news?!

This has impacted even the events that the community has held and/or stopped scheduling (because of the EN notification).

Thanks in advance!

Complementing the information.
Previously, it was not possible to identify the country to which the language referred.
Now, the Portuguese-BR language has been excluded from the list.

As a result, in PUSH, the name of the event is appearing in English and not as it should be, in Portuguese.

The New Version of WME Beta v2.121 fixed this problem.

However, the initial post issue remains.

Hi Denys,

Thank you for your feedback. The team is working on the second issue. We will update you when we have news.

HI Nataliia

As a suggestion, can we abbreviate the language name localization, changing from Portuguese (BR or PT) to Port (BR or PT)?

Hi Mauricio,

Thank you for the comment. Could you please open a suggestion for this in the Uservoice section? If changes are made, they should be done for all languages with additional parameters. Let’s see what other Community members think about this.

Nataliia

Thanks Natalia!

We will change the language name from “Português (Brasil)” to “BR Português” like our US friends
