Hi editors!
I noticed that the route numbers for the Stuart Hwy are very inconsistent. Some parts have no shield, some with the ‘87’ shield, and some segments with the National A87 shield. It is to my knowledge that this highway is now A87 (standard, not national) from where the highway starts at Port Augusta, all the way to where it becomes the A1.
P.S. Sorry for not including a permalink, but the whole highway until the A1 segment basically needs updating.
P.P.S. I tried posting this in the root Australia forum, but it went unanswered (and had no replies anyway), so I’ve re-posted here.
Thanks,
DeviateFromThePlan
I spotted that the highway had been reclassified as B87 in NT. Though the signage in the most recent street view hasn’t been updated yet.
I have started the process of changing over the name and shield to match the eventual new name.
However the physical signage is very slow to be be updated on the ground.
Plus it’s also a tedious process of updating it in the editor.

Hi! I thought it was A87, not B87.
Thanks
Not sure where I got B87 from.
But after trolling SV in Alice Springs I eventually found an A87 sign near the airport.
I found a State route 87, National Route 87 and a National Highway 87 first though.
Update nam3 and shield from the north at the NR1 turn off, to the Uluṟu turn off onto A4 for now.
