Hi,
We’ve received a map update request to Waze support and we’re posting here on the user’s behalf. The link to this post will be forwarded for the user to follow up.
This is the user’s request:
State: Belgium
City: Schoten
Permalink: https://waze.com/cs/editor?env=row&lat=51.24068&lon=4.48619&marker=true&s=8522359480318&zoomLevel=18
Request type: Closure updates
The user’s request content: “The Hoogmolenbrug in Schoten has become a new bridge and it has also been moved a bit. So she can no longer be reached via the Braamstraat, but Waze keeps thinking so.”
Thanks,
The Waze Support team
I’m afraid I don’t quite understand the user’s message when I look at the map in that area. We know for certain that we’ve got the new bridge on the right location as the GPS traces clearly show this route. The route we give through the Braamstraat uses the Korte Braamstraat to get to the Metropoolstraat, which is the entrance road for the new bridge.
Is the user claiming that the Korte Braamstraat doesn’t connect to the Metropoolstraat? There are road works reported both to the east and west of the bridge (so on Hoogmolendijk and Metropoolstraat) which currently prevent Waze from giving a route through those major roads and makes Korte Braamstraat the only access. We’d love to know if this information is wrong.
