Subject: Waze support map update request: [Address changes/complaints] [New Jersey]

Hi,

We’ve received a map update request to Waze support and we’re posting here on the user’s behalf. The link to this post will be forwarded for the user to follow up.
This is the user’s request: The user found the wrong location of a house. And here’s what we found out. There are two identical addresses that are shown in the Waze Livemap, and the first search result is incorrect. The second search result is leading to the correct location.

Thanks to your report we have found and fixed a problem with the map. The fix should reach mobile devices within a few days. On rare occasions it can take closer to a week. IMPORTANT step: Please remove any instance of this address from your history and favorites by tapping the ‘3 dots’ and then ‘Remove’. Then search for the address. If you don’t remove the old results from your navigation or favorites, you will continue to be routed to the old coordinates. Please verify functionality after couple of days and let us know.

Hello krzycholub, State Manager for NJ & Thank you Aneta for submitting.
I look forward to seeing the revision on my cell phone app, will it also be corrected on the laptop as well?
The women who lives at this property is my cousin & she is not very savvy when it applies to apps & internet. I will be putting her house on the market in the beginning of summer 2023 so I wanted to make sure all the map apps are accurate with her location. Do not want to upset any potential buyers before they even see the property.
I look forward to seeing the revision in a couple of days & will follow the instructions by deleting the address & starting fresh. Most likely will delete the app altogether, & reinstate it.
