Hi,

We’ve received a map update request to Waze support and we’re posting here on the user’s behalf. The link to this post will be forwarded for the user to follow up.

Request type: Wrong Direction

The user’s request content: I moved to a new home and Waze says to make a uturn by my home is 1/4 mile up and then a right turn.
Apple Maps works. 5003 Handcock dr. Danbury Ct 06811 is my address. Hoping you can fix it. My friends and family all use Waze.

Thank you for reaching out. I’ve updated the map to fix this issue. In order for you to be navigated correctly to this address you will have to delete all drives to this location from your app including any preset favorites like “home.”

To delete a previous drive go into your app and click the “search” button. After that you will see your drives on the left. You then find your drives to this location and hit the three dots on the right side of that drive and select the “remove” option.

It can take up to a few days for our changes to be reflected in the live map. After that, when you reenter this destination, you should be navigated correctly.

I also filled about 10 Address corrections for the homes along Handcock Dr in google maps also, hopefully they will all get accepted!
