Hey Waze!
The “My Dashboard” needs some updates!
In fact, it is lacking quite a few “things” that would make it simply amazing. Without writing too much description, here are some suggestions to improve the “My Dashboard” section of the website.
-
Friends: This can allow side-by-side driving (or passing). Groups could form, meet up, and chit chat can be sent to all friends for meetups or other things.
-
Reporting: This can allow my reports to show up under My Dashboard (think chit chat and road reports).
3.My current Mood: Show how we are feeling. ![]()
4.Move the Profile Change Info: Move this from My Dashboard to an entirely new page specifically designed for this. Create a “settings” link where people can update their info.
5.Routes: I have only checked my routes once, and that was to look at the functionality. I would arguably say this is useless and should only be accessible through the “Update Map” (like it is now) for editing. As a current user, I haven’t quite figured out how this benefits me, unless I want to make the update. Right now, when I update the map, I go directly to “Archive” and follow my routes (never to My Dashboard) if I noticed there was something wrong with the drive. Maybe change “Archive” to something like, “My Routes” in the update map section.
6.My Daily Points: Total points are given, but why are we not able to see our daily points earned, our current stats for the week or the leadership boards?
Although Waze is primarily designed for people to use on their mobile device, creating a more functional dashboard will help grow the site and the community.
