Useful display for Wazers? I wonder about the rules for displaying routes by Waze… Are they designed for the service rendered to Wazers? Answer: no. Demonstration by a banal example submitted to your attention: on the attached photograph you can see that I am driving near Prigonrieux on the D32 which I see by the display of a rectangle in yellow D32 and also the display of a bubble in blue D32. However, this section outside the urban area of the D32 is called Route du Guel. And this…the wazer will ignore it…because that name is not displayed. This name is in the Waze database for addresses… So? So wouldn’t it be more useful than the second display of a section, outside agglomeration, the one that is in a bubble in blue tells us the “alternative” name of the section…? In my example Waze would display in yellow rectangle D32 … and then in blue bubble Route du Guel. Thus the two displays of the same section would be different outside urban areas and above all would be more useful to wazers! What is the point of giving the same name twice for the same section? This forces you to open Google Map to find out where you are!!! It’s a shame not to have the answer by staying with Waze!!! What do you think ?

what is in town, is in priority street name
what is out of town is in priority navigation cartridge.
In town we have time to see street names with street signs on almost every street corner, outside town we almost never see street names, which could be a problem for finding one’s way while the cartridges of navigation they are clearly visible
