Waze via Android Auto has been working fine. As of this week, tapping the “X” to cancel a route in progress has stopped responding. The “X to cancel” remains on the display and the route continues as if the X was never tapped.

I’m also looking for a solution.
2022 Kia Telluride, It’s been working fine for years, then started doing this a couple weeks ago. Not sure if it’s an Android Auto update or Waze update causing the bug.

Anyone find a resolution yet? Using Waze on Samsung S23, AA in a 2023 Lexus NX 350h. Started not cancelling route about 1 month ago. Checked updates on both the phone and AA, seem to be most recent available. Does work with voice command.
Still no resolution. I did speak to a Waze map editor, not responsible for this issue’s resolution, who said Waze is aware and looking at the issue. That said, still an issue and no feedback from Waze Engineering/Dev teams to this post. ![]()
I’ve switched to Google Maps as of this week, at least until this is revolved … or longer.
