I updated the rank template to specify ranks for lanes, shields and turn instructions, and I removed snapshot mode and server switcher from it. I also removed the sections about snapshot mode and server switcher, as well as user info, from the left panel section of the map editor interface page. It is a losing battle to keep that page up to date with new content, but at least we can get rid of stuff that’s not in WME anymore.

or does that have to be done manually? i looked for current info there today and the rank table on the editing restrictions page doesn’t include the updated info in the template. thanks.
Oh yeah, that has to be done manually. My bad for missing it. Like the rows need to be added and/or deleted
ok, honest question here, why is there a template for a rank table if we don’t use it? i’m not trying to be obtuse just trying to figure out how these things work.
i went ahead and updated the rank table from the recent changes to the template, removing server switcher, adding lanes, shields and visual instructions. in addition there was no organization of the table, neither alphabetical nor rank, so i organized it by rank.
i think we need to add RRC Railroad crossing to the table. any objections?
That is actually a great question. We can certainly move the table into a doc page and then transclude it into the {{Rank}} template and the Rank page. It looks like we have a few differences that we can leverage in both views to make it a single table. I’ll review it as part of the upcoming Wazeopedia beta update.
