What do we do with these if anything? I’ve had a report of a petrol station closed for refurbishment until 9th July

I change the category from petrol station to Construction - that way it keeps the attributes. When it reopens, just change it back again. You may have to reset the brand, but that’s all.

I have had a few of these over the past few months and decided to go for adding “- CLOSED FOR REFURBISHMENT” after the existing name and then removing the fuel brand to make the name appear in any search. I think doing this leaves the fuel station in system and usually gets a UR as soon as it re-opens.
I think this also keeps all the other information in place.
In the app when you drive passed the petrol station you can mark all the fuel prices as unavailable I wonder if this is what the users should do. Then the station still appears and all fuel is unavailable.

That’s what I do if I’m passing a station which is still showing valid prices despite being closed for refurb, however as with renaming the station I suspect this only helps to guide the more alert Wazer away from selecting the station when they go to look for somewhere to get fuel - I don’t think anything short of removing the petrol station category from the place object will prevent Waze from selecting it as a potentially valid destination if there aren’t any other stations which are a better match for whichever search prioritisation method the app/server is using to come up with its list of suggested stations.
