The long term solution - Now live!

Hey all,

As you remember, we had some issues when asking for routes with border crossing.
Before the holidays we gave a quick and sort term solution, until now… :sunglasses:

Now live!
The full long term solution, for more information and details please take a look at this doc.

Please let us know if you have any comments or feedback

[s]Someone reported that from Dijon, France to Evian-les-Bains, France also. Waze was routing him via the A9 freeway in Switzerland which requires the vignette pass. But he did not set it in his app.

To prove it he sent a video recording of his phone:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/j7d8nyyrhaohf79/waze%20vignette%20suisse.mp4?dl=0 (His dropbox link)
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vikCWKnhnkEHz5BDzSuYONIQI8o8mGGW (My Google Drive link - if the other doesn’t work)

The distance is less than 700km (around 300km)
Livemap routes without vignette (Not using swiss freeways)
Livemap routes with vignette (Using swiss freeways)[/s]

He was expecting to get the same routes as on the Livemap without vignette on his Waze App.

[EDIT] I asked him if he had made sure his map on the App was up to date because the last time he had driven via Switzerland was before we edited the map with passes, when it was still mapped as “toll road”, which he still allowed in his routing settings.
It turns out that after he used “Refresh map of my area” while zoomed out to include our roads, his routing started working correctly with how the vignette pass was set. So apparently there is no ongoing issue there, it was just a matter of making sure the WME changes had been refreshed on his App too (old cached tiles I guess).

I cant see the file.

Thanks, I downloaded his file and added it to my Google Drive also (updated the post above with the 2nd link)

Copied it to the Champs google drive
