There are two Lakeview Drive in Gainesville GA

3503 - 3719 Lakeview Drive are close to Lake Lanier while 515 - 1082 Lakeview Drive are close to downtown Gainesville, GA. Both are in 30501 area code. Waze seems to switch back and forth depending on how the address gets initiated. If selected from address book 3645 Lakeview will go to wrong location, but it you enter it, it is goes to correct location. Help! I have an AirBnB and some very confused guests! Cheers, Marcos

Hi and thanks for the report. I have looked at the address above and already made some corrections there but I am not sure I understand the two different methods you describe for searching for and then navigating to the address.

Above when you reference selection of the address from the “address book” are you referring to the Waze drive history or favorites?

Please let us know in order that we can be sure we understand the problem described and we fix that problem.

From the iPhone app… if I select the person with the 3638 Lakeview address, it goes to the wrong location.

I just checked Drive History - 3645 Lakeview went to the wrong address.

Punchline… if the location goes to the corner of Park Hill Drive and Lakeview Dr, it’s wrong (as that address number does not exist on that Lakeview Drive location).

the corner of Park Hill and Lakeview Dr route is a result of a bad google pin. I have asked Google to fix that. We do not have control on how they prioritize that issue but I’m sure they will fix it in a timely manner.

I have also made changes to the correct location on the waze map but I’m waiting on a waze map tile update before I can tell you that has been completely resolved.

Once I tell you that the waze map corrections have been updated to the live map, this next step is hugely important:

You MUST delete any historical or favorites saved to that destination and search again. Otherwise waze will continue to use the ‘old’ routing. This would apply to your customers if they have saved any routing to that address also.

While we’re waiting for the maps to update, can you tell me:
Are you opening your iphone contacts, selecting a contact and then clicking on the map icon that comes up as you click on the contact name, then selecting routing from there?

I’m having trouble duplicating your results but I have tested with my iphone and determined that in my case, if I open contact list, then choose a contact, the resultant route is from apple maps.

On the other hand, are you instead in the waze app, and type a contact’s name into the waze search field?
