Preparations and traffic arrangements (Route 40) for the memorial ceremony for the fallen of the Paratroopers Brigade.
On Tuesday, 8th of Tishrei 5786, 30.09.2025, a memorial ceremony will be held in memory of the fallen of the Paratroopers Brigade, at the Paratroopers Memorial located on Route 40 between Tel Nof Junction and Ekron 2000 Junction.
Starting from 18:00 until 22:00, Route 40 will be closed to traffic, from Ekron 2000 Junction to Tel Nof Junction – in both directions.
Traffic Department officers will direct traffic to alternative routes:
For those arriving from the north – traffic at “Ekron 2000” Junction will be directed to Route 411, and from there right towards Beit El’azari until Tel Nof Junction.
For those arriving from the south – traffic will be directed to Beit El’azari, until Route 411, and from there to Route 40 back to Ekron 2000 Junction.
Drivers arriving from Route 40 southbound are advised to turn onto Route 411 at HaKutna Junction, continue until Hulda Junction (Route 3), and from there to Sorek Junction and Route 7 – until Route 40, Gedera Interchange, and back.
In light of the temporary traffic arrangements, the traveling public is requested to be patient and follow the instructions of the police officers stationed on-site.
