[Hod HaSharon] Navigation issue to the business “Saar Zered”

Hello and greetings,

My name is Saar Zered, owner of the barbershop “Saar Zered”, located at 37 Sokolov St., Hod Hasharon.

I am contacting you after countless inquiries sent to you over the past year (and even close to two years), without a solution or sufficient attention.

There is a serious fault in your navigation system:

When searching Waze for the business name “Saar Zered”, the correct address appears — 37 Sokolov, Hod Hasharon.

However, after clicking “Go Now”, the navigation system changes the destination and navigates to the address Sokolov in Herzliya instead of Sokolov in Hod Hasharon.

This is a fault that can be easily reproduced, and I have even attached screenshots illustrating this.

As a result, many customers who are not residents of Hod Hasharon arrive in Herzliya by mistake. Some give up, are late for their appointments, and even cancel their arrival entirely. This is a real blow to my business, causing loss of income and damage to my reputation that has been ongoing for a long period.

I find it difficult to understand how such a basic fault, which has been reported several times, has still not been addressed.

I request your immediate attention to this matter and the correction of the fault as soon as possible, as well as a formal update on the handling of this inquiry.

I would be happy to cooperate and provide any additional information required to resolve the fault.

Attached are screenshots.

Sincerely,

Saar Zered

Hi, I suggest continuing all handling here in the forum and not in the report (which @sh-oded responded to).

Please note that in the screenshot you uploaded, the result is from the device’s history. Click on “more results” to see up-to-date information.

In addition to what was said in the report, there is a user report claiming that the business is not there.

From a Google search, I found several results with different addresses for each, and it seems to be a chain with branches.
Could you clarify this?

Our business is “Amos Zered managed by Saar Zered”, and its correct address is 37 Sokolov, Hod Hasharon.

It is important to clarify that there is another branch of Amos Zered at 8 Elazar David, Kfar Saba, but other than that, there is no branch in Herzliya. These are the only two existing salons.

We would appreciate it if you could update the map so that the business “Amos Zered managed by Saar Zered” appears at the correct address, 37 Sokolov, Hod Hasharon, to prevent customers from arriving at the wrong location.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

  1. I have updated the topic title since it was not written in accordance with the rules.
  2. Please note that everyone answering you here is a volunteer and not a Waze employee.

Thanks Yaakobi

Can this be handled through here? How can this issue be addressed?

You also reported this via the app and for some reason, you didn’t address the reply sent to you at all:

**> **
> First, please note: The map is maintained by volunteer editors, not by Waze itself.
> Second, it’s not clear exactly who you contacted or how, especially since you mentioned attaching photos. There is no option to attach photos here.
> Third, the barbershop didn’t exist on the Waze map at all. The only result found came from Google Maps, and it was indeed incorrect as you described. So, you are welcome to direct your claims to Google Maps and request a correction on their site.

> 1. I’ve submitted a correction request to them. You should probably do the same.
> 2. I’ve added the barbershop to the Waze map. Please check the following link and update us here if the location is correct:

As mentioned in the reply, the place now exists on the Waze map. Please test the navigation using this link:

The Google Maps location has also been fixed.

In any case, you should perform a full search for the location and avoid selecting results with a clock icon next to them.

All good, thank you very much for the help.
