So I am aware of how to view completed trips on the Waze Map Editor. I had a specific question about uncompleted trips. My trip was cut short because I was pulled over and I wanted to view my route during that time period but it isn’t listed in My Drives of the Map Editor. I would really appreciate if anyone could help me find or direct me to how I can obtain this information.
How long ago was the trip and how long of a trip was it? Sometimes there’s a few hour delay between the time you closed the app and when it gets into the editor, and longer drives tend to take a longer time to load in. Also, I’ve found there’s sometimes an issue when I’ve closed the app in a low cell coverage area.
The trip was 4 days ago. It was a very short trip, under 7 minutes in my estimation (mostly stuck in traffic). The other trips from that day are in my editor however. I’m an Uber driver and I use waze to help me navigate so when I received a job I used waze to show me how to get to my destination. I was pulled over by an officer so I closed out the app. If I could just somehow get that route history It would clear my name…
I’m not sure what can be done there then. I’m not sure how/when the drives are synced, but cutting out quick may have prevented it from syncing? I don’t know if that’s true though because I use it daily on the 4-5 minute drive to my gym and those all show up.
Are you trying to use the route to clear your name for a ticket? I would advise against that. If you search the forums here you’ll find that it hasn’t held up in court a number of times.
Yes I am, but it is for a turn violation. If I could get that history it would help because I was going straight and no turn was made. The officer claimed that I made a turn.
Trip should be stored even if you stop in the middle… It is odd that the trip is not available… I checked and all my drives including ones I did earlier today are showing up…

Is there anyway someone from Waze can pull up my movements during that time period?
Though it would show the turn, that will likely not hold up. The court would find that anyone could login to your app from another phone. That’s just one of many legal issues you’ll find

Because of privacy issues no one but you have access to your trips…if for some reason the trip was not recorded then the info is lost. But if you still feel you want to take a chance you have to start with the Waze support people… Sorry but the volunteer community can not really help with items like this…
