Trying to add roads in the subdivision of Puerto Corona near San Luis Soyatlan, Jalisco MX. I live here and can’t place my home address because Waze doesn’t know it exists. Get error when saving saying I can’t add cities to existing map in Mexico. I am new to editing but have been a wazer in one form or another for over a year. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.
I’ve passed this on to one of the editors for MX.
Thanks for the reply.
Is there anyway to retrieve all my history?
Which history? Drives or edits?
Due to something I don’t understand. I continually lose the ability to log in to waze on my device. I get a invalid userid or my data is lost in the stratosphere. The worst part is losing all my favorites. Is there a way to save them locally to my SD chip. Having Google save them is useless because I can’t log in and have to create a new account. Very confusing.
Hi Bibarnes
I can help you out with adding segments in the mexican side, if you speak spanish would be great for me.
if you have a permalink or any coordenate to locate Puerto Corona and add the streets or roads you need.
saludos
Mario Cota
Sorry my spanish is limited. Puerto Corona is located near n20 11’42" w103 16’30" On the south shore of lake Chapala. Just east of san Luis Soyatlan. In map editor it shows up but as San Nicolas which is actually 3 Km east and is a Pueblo. Puerto Corona is a colonia.
Puerto
The reply to my question has gone unanswered. Now when I try to add the road I drive on most everyday I am told I do not have permission. Is map editing allowed in Mexico?
La respuesta a mi pregunta ha quedado sin respuesta. Ahora, cuando trato de agregar el camino que uso todos los días, me dicen que no tengo permiso. ¿Está permitida la edición de mapas en México?
One other thing I have been reporting Speed limit errors for months and they have been ignored. The system will not allow over 100Kph or under 60Kph. The road between San Luis Soyatlan and San Pedro Tesistan is mostly 110Kph.
I’ve moved this from the global forum to the México forum. Local issue are always better discussed in local forums rather than in the global one.
If you’re reporting Speed Limit issues correctly…Waze doesn’t show them in the Waze Map Editor. There were issues with the roll out and we don’t know when they are coming back.
To report speed limit issues, you have to report it as a general map issue and put the speed limit in the comment.
